The Year of the Monkey

We've all gone to Chinese restaurants in the states and read up on the years and various animals belonging to our birth year.

Whether it is important and of value to you, in China it is very much a part of their culture. 

This is the year of the monkey. 

Sara found an app that had the 2016 CNY celebration symbols on it. I think she had way too much fun with it.

Thankfully the kiddos for the most part enjoy getting their pictures taken! We hung these in the hallway for the parents to see.

This one we didn't hang. 

His momma is a wee bit serious and constantly concerned of his child-like behavior. He's a silly, caring little boy who's smile is infectious.  Even so, we saved this one just for us and hung a different picture.

Sara and I got in on the fun too!
