Remember how it looked when I first arrived back in August?
Never, EVER will I forget how it looked four months ago.
My community here is fantastic. Word spread of the Let's Make a Deal fiasco and it turned out a family from my fellowship had to get rid of 15 years worth of stuff and move back to the states within six weeks. This loving family gave me above and beyond what I had before!
A silver-lining to having my belongings taken is, when I was on holiday Yes, I say holiday now because that's what the Chinese call vacation. It sounds more refined, dontcha think!? I had the best excuse to splurge on this Turkish coffee set!

I got this little piece at one of the Fake Markets. It's of a the famous water towns here in China.
This is my favorite mug. It is just SO China! Any guesses why??

Have ya'll heard of the movie, "War Room"? It's all about the importance in and power of standing in the gap for those you know and love.
This lady's one of them. Her special chair surrounded by books and notebooks did not go unnoticed by me when I went to her home throughout the years. My first apartment had a reading area inspired by her's. It was my favorite place in the mornings and evenings.
She's a warrior this one and she's taught many to be the same.
After watching "War Room" I liked the idea of putting requests on the wall, going into my room and being in my special space. I wasn't quite sure how I could make a little "war room" in my studio.

Finally, I figured out a simple solution that I enjoy and seems to complete the look of my room! It is perfect for me in my little space.
I've been home a lot the last three weeks. Like, a LOT! You know what though? It's a pretty peaceful place to be! Last night, I even got to see the city skyline at sunset for the first time in many months.
I am soaking it up and enjoying my space. I'm sure thankful for how He has provided for everything to come together!
Heather, You are too kind,
